Hypnotherapy for anxiety
Having that anxious and critical voice as a constant companion in your head is a tough way to live, and makes it very difficult to experience any lasting peace and contentment.
Often clients tell me things like, “I’m just an anxious person” or “I’ve always been highly strung”, and other such labels which assume the anxiety is a part of who they are.
This isn’t true!
Anxiety is not an identity, it is a process that you run – mental/emotional patterns of operating in a particular way that usually started back in childhood, or as a result of difficult life events.
It is totally possible to change these processes, and experience life very differently.
How can hypnotherapy help you reduce and manage anxiety?
Common patterns to address:
- Overthinking and overanalysing.
- Fear of the future.
- Difficulty relaxing or “switching off”.
- Lack of confidence.
- “Avoidant” coping style.
- Perfectionism.
- Fear of judgement or rejection.
- Strong need for control.
- Uncomfortable with uncertainty.
- Feeling overwhelmed by life.
My sessions will teach you to:
- Let go of intrusive thoughts.

- Take gradual action instead of avoiding.
- Regulate your nervous system.
- Sit with difficult emotions.
- Get comfortable with uncertainty.
- Love and accept yourself more fully.
